RP Event coming soon, but first, something completely different!

Come Christmas Eve we've got something we've been working on to share with you all, and will be linking it on facebook! We can't wait to give you the gift of escapism for this very special holiday season.

In the meantime, an amazing voice acting outfit just entered a contest with a VO of our comic, which is awesome!

Personally, I think it's spot on. Keegan, Brinton, and Cutter especially. I'm incredibly chuffed, and I hope they do more!

That said, since I'm posting it on the page, I'd feel remiss without pressing my own impression on Holt and Talon in particular, the later I imagine almost as a more english Markiplier, and the former more or less Peter Cushing to spec. It's how I've always heard them, though these folks have finally given me a voice for Keegan and Cutter, (whom I'd not had a mental model for all these years.)

Thanks again guys, and good luck! I hope you take gold!

And now a tease

I couldn't resist sharing some materials from the bit we're working on. Enjoy!

The OMGE part made me laugh my ass off

Aww, Talon and Aetta is a perfect match now. Together they form one fully messed up face.

December 19th, 2016, 7:52 am

@peachpunk: Thin your frakking paints, Talon! Jeeze!

God... can the guy be any more of a creep. Besides... she got beating up by a dude in power armor. Well anyway, If she needs to be out of sight. They could give her a different regimental uniform. But to hide her face, we may need a helmet fitted with a gas mask & visor. But she may have to cut her hair a bit shorter or make her hair into bun.

@Ferro: all good points! Although, considering how much guardsmen scrap, the bruises may be right at home.

December 19th, 2016, 1:53 pm

@Ferro: But he's soooooo cute. <3

December 21st, 2016, 10:04 am

@Ferro: Yeah, give her a Krieg Uniform. Nobody will ever notice her!

Thanks for pointing me to your comic. I'm definitely going to have to go back to the beginning and catch up.

Oh man, Aetta is such a badass. I'm kinda curious as to all the details of her escape now, honestly.

And ohhhh shit! Time for more Holt! :D

Does anyone else hope we get to see Talon beat Drax into a bloody pulp for doing that to Aetta?

December 19th, 2016, 4:11 pm

@The Crimson Bear: Aetta: You think I didn't already beat Drax to a bloody mess for this? I don't need someone who can't edge highlight white knighting for me.

December 20th, 2016, 7:09 am

@InquisitorVawn: bahahahahaha, dammit Aetta, I just choked on my mead because of that. Wasted most of a damn good tankard too.

How tight is Perray to you, Commissar Talon?

December 20th, 2016, 4:30 pm

@peachpunk: It was nice to meet you yesterday at the post office. Too bad we didn't get on TV! Anyway, thanks for pointing me to your comic. You now have one more fan in the Boston area.

There's gonna be an archive right? That tends to be a very useful feature in a webcomic.

December 24th, 2016, 1:28 pm

@Metal C0Mmander: Yep!A nice one, with thumbnails. The drop down is coming back too. I'm going to be hammering it all out over the break, making sure everything works well on mobile, etc.

Troops page is getting a nice redo as well, and I wanted somewhere to store work people had done for us. Lots of goodies on the way.

December 24th, 2016, 2:38 pm

@peachpunk: Cool. It seems you guys have been thinking about a lot more than I did for the website.

December 24th, 2016, 7:17 pm

@Metal C0Mmander: You've got one too? :)

It's been a work in progress. Part of the challenge is integrating it with SJ's CMS system, so there's only so much I can do without setting it up on a paid account. On an unpaid account you end up getting your page skewed by randomly placed adds.

Fortunately I have the next week off, so I'm going to put in some solid time into making sure it's functional and mostly complete. And hopefully a lot sleeker than the last version.

December 25th, 2016, 8:50 am

@peachpunk: Oh I'm afraid I don't own my own website. I was just noting that I appreciated the effort you were putting in to get us a spiffy new website.

Oh and Merry Christmas!
