Updating every other Monday until mid February.
Join us at Adepticon! Details soon.
If you suddenly noticed the appearance of soot this page (and updated onto the last page) It's because I forgot last week, and am bad. Alas! It's hard to remember all the trouble these guys get into.
Anyways, at this point in the campaign it really did happen almost exactly as advertised, complete with cypher, and we set to work decoding it out-of-game. Now I welcome you to do the same!
Cookie for the first person who guesses where I stole the symbols from.
Star Wars, duh.
Can I post the deciphered form or would that be cheating?
@Bjorning: You could always post a link to the answer that way only people whp want to know it will be able to.
I thought it was maybe Tau at first but when Bjorning said star wars I look it up and yep he's right. Anyway... it will take quite a bit of time to fully translate it if anyone wants to even do that.
@Ferro: Take a while? You don't know star wars fans.
@Metal C0Mmander: That I do not... yes. But was never a huge Star Wars geek with the Lore of the Series. But now I am now questioning of what the guy is thinking on the Tattoos and being a bit creepy around junior.
@Ferro: I didn't even realize that i could just look up the alphabet. Had to figure it out it on my own.
Yeah I was right. This guy is a slaaneshi worshiper. Just not the monstrous kind.
Aurebesh from Star Wars
Trying a 3rd time. Seems comments with links in them don't post (or maybe require approval?)
Work out the exact URL yourselves. Transcription is at pastebin 9QebEUQL
I can't even handle this guy, he's too cute. I think I've already entered heresy-levels of crush.
Take me away, boys!
At least the message is not in binary that would not be fun to translate.
What, none of you read Aurebesh? I thought you were all geeks...
I read it, I just didn't want to post the transcription here. Tried to post a link but I couldn't - so I gave the way to the pastebin link without actually giving it.
@peachpunk: Damn heretics are using Aurabesh!
@evilscary: This is it. The star wars/40k crossover we've alll been waiting for.
It couldn't have been something akin to the enigma code huh?
Took me half an hour to translate it. Most of that was just going back and forth between screen and page. That was a pretty good code!
No idea where the font is from though... It looks familiar, but I can't be sure.
