On hiatus while Kaiser works on Vhane Glorious
Troops section in progress!
Holy crap, thank you so much to GalooGameLady for finishing up our veeeery long chapter break. It's always a bittersweet feeling when someone comes along who draws one of your favorite characters better than you can!
Doubly so, consitering she also drew these a while back.
In any case, thank you again so much, Galoo! And Make sure you check out her tumblr or DA for more amazing Fallout art and her lovely OC Butts, who sneaks into our pages every now and then.
If anyone's curious as to how the main comic is going or how my long break went- the short answer is great, and busy but well spent! I packed up, moved, settled in, and am now much, much happier living in a nicer part of Boston.
I got to experience hiring my first lawyer to try and get a deposit back, successfully, but not before losing some sleep over that. Came down with a cold that took me out for a week while working with a new client at my software design consulting job. Had our writer, Richard, drive up for a weekend of fooding and sitting down to write out the rest of the pages left scene by scene, and otherwise got to spend time with some local friends I haven't seen in month. And prepped for a Rogue Trader game I wanted to run for the crew from this comic.
I also go to turn out a bunch of commissions and armour I would have never had time for otherwise, and that really pulled my ass out of hot water. Moving is expensive, especially in Boston where Aug 30th is the prime time to fleece anyone trying to hire a van.
I'm glad I had the break, but I'm glad it's over, and I'm glad life is returning to normal. I wish I'd gotten to spend it playing more games like I'd imagined, but such is life. I'm already a page up on my buffer for next week, and I'm looking forward to doing more. Thank you for being so patient with me, and I doubt any future chapter break will be quite so long.
Thank you too to all the amazing artists who contributed to this chapter break. They all put a ton of work into their strips and I've never felt more humbled or lucky. If you liked something you saw over the break, please comment on their strip, follow their blog, or commission them yourself.
See you again soon at the start of chapter 3!
